Grover attended Florida State University where he received his Masters in Social Work. His career history includes Director of Social work and Director of Mental Health of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Puyallup, Washington, Director of Social Work, Manhattan Psychiatric Center, NYC, and Owner and Director of the Mental Health Co-Op Residential Treatment Center for Schizophrenics in Houston, TX. Grover has taught at the University of Washington, Columbia University, New York University, the University of Texas, and University of Houston.

Grover has spent the majority of his life volunteering in some capacity. His volunteer record includes opening and operating the first AIDS hospice in Texas in 1981, developing and operating a free residential program for quadriplegics in Tacoma in 1970, volunteering at Desert Hospital Hospice in Florida, Cross Cultural Solutions in India and coordinator of Dharamsala Special School for mentally ill children. Grover’s contribution to the Board envelops his extensive knowledge of nonprofit management and ‘never give up’ mentality. Along with his role as secretary and treasurer, he also is our most enthusiastic fundraising campaign advocate. Now permanently residing in Dharamsala India, he supervises and manages all activities for the Plus Scholarship program.
